Three teams in the hunt for Flynn, Jags in the lead

08:03 AM ET 03.27 | Thanks to the Russell Wilson Show in Seattle, backup quarterback Matt Flynn may be on the move again. Several NFL sources have identified Jacksonville as the most likely destination for [Flynn], and the Jaguars are among the teams to talk to the Seahawks about a deal. Buffalo and Oakland are also in the mix, and though things have progressed slowly, sources said a trade could materialize before the draft. Flynn was signed to a lucrative free-agent deal in Seattle a year ago but barely played last season while Russell Wilson emerged as a rookie sensation. The Seahawks have not hidden their desire to find value for Flynn and give him the opportunity to play elsewhere.

Probably one of the few times you'll here "Jags in the lead" this year.

Unless they're talking about next year number one draft pick!

We all see now why Wilson was picked over Flynn - clearly Wilson is special. But that doesn't mean that Flynn doesn't have some talent. It was only a matter of time before somebody decided to find out.

Why? He hasn't really done anything

The Jags would give him a chance to prove whether or not he can be a failure.

lose/lose situation

He should lose/lose that picture. Looks like he's waiting for the short bus.

I've seen that look on a number of backup QB's.

Sanchez looks that way all the time.

But then again, he's really a backup to begin with.

He may have perfected it.

That and the buttfumble. It's probably not the legacy he envisioned for himself when he left USC.

Probably not but he should just own it now....

He could try to get a copyright on "buttfumble" and try selling some t-shirts with the name on them. It would be a good novelty item for Pats fans.

That didn't stop Seattle from over-paying for him.

Like many a successful quarterback, he could never have done it without his offensive line.

Potential...that is why.

Flynn would be a good attempt by either the Cards or Jags to get but Seattle is not going to send him for nothing.

Wilson goes down, they are toast...which is why you best get a great trade for him.

wiseup: 2 or 3 years ago when Aaron Rodgers was injured and out for three weeks Flynn stepped up and played well while Rodgers was out. Flynn was backup to Rodgers. Green Bay saw opportunity to trade Flynn for top draft picks. He has some talent and would be an upgrade to Blaine Gabbert in Jax. Would also allow Bulffalo to address O-line in draft instead of overrated Gino Smith. Would also be an upgrade to Carson Palmer.
