Celtics in free fall

08:08 AM ET 03.27 | At this point, moral victories aren't going to help in Boston. But with Kevin Garnett out, perhaps until the last week of the regular season, and Courtney Lee checking the state of his ankle nightly, the C's are now in a free fall toward the eighth and final playoff seed in the Eastern Conference. ... [The Celtics] are now just 1 1/2 games up on the eighth-seeded Milwaukee Bucks. Should the teams end up tied for the seventh seed, Milwaukee holds the tiebreaker thanks to its 3-1 edge in the season series. With 12 games remaining on the schedule, starting with one tonight in Cleveland against the Cavaliers, the Celtics are in need of some short-term alterations.

Playing the knicks will do that to you.....<thumps chest while I can>

I hope you have a breast armor while "thumping". Ya'll know Knicks don't need another injury :-)

They said if this was a playoff game, KG would be playing. They're shutting him down for the playoffs. They can't do worse than a 8th or 7th seed. C's give Heat a tough time, so it's not a bad matchup for the fans to watch the first round. If the C's get 7th spot, Knicks will be wetting their pants.

Good win for the Knicks last night. They need that 3 seed. Don't want to go up vs Bulls and then Heat.

don't care-we can/should beat either(if relatively healthy)

On a side note, I see now why Melo chased KG down that night. He been training like a boxer this year, or at least that is what his commercial said. Probably wanted to test his skills on somebody!
