11:08 AM ET 03.27 | It has been a rough few weeks for Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang as he continues to deal with injury problems. On Tuesday, Letang returned to the ice in the Penguins 1-0 win over the Montreal Candiens after missing three games due to a lower body injury. Unfortunately for Letang, he suffered another injury. There is no specific incident or play on the ice that links back to the toe injury, but it's just the way Letang's luck has been as of late. Letang logged logged 24:20 minutes in his return.

Kris should take his time and get healthy for the SC run.

They definitely need him healthy for the playoffs. Mind you .... with the surplus of forwards they have, they can play Morrow or Iggy on defense and not miss a beat.

Amazing how much grief a small appendage, like a toe, can cause....ouchy.
