LMFAO, you do know that the SEC schedules the same teams, right????

Come on there is plenty of room for a school like BSU. I like watching them, not every school has to be a national powerhouse to play entertaining football.

Do they need to be taken seriously? I say no, just watch'em on Thursday/Friday nights and enjoy. The NC game is being ruined more every year from over hype.

We need more Tuesday and Wednesday games!

Thursday's for JV games.

Don't ever mess with Friday Night's - That's holy territory.

Tuesday and Wednesday are for 7th and 8th grade JRHS teams.

Are you aware that Bama has played Florida Atlantic, Western Kentucky, Georgia Southern, Kent State, North Texas and Georiga State the last few years??? I'm just saying that all football conferences play patsies every year!!

ULLaf Ragin' Cajuns went 8-4 in 2012 and defeated ECU in the N.O. Bowl. The Sunbelt may be the poorest neighborhood in the FBS, but them upstart boys do like to take a paycheck and/or step into the spotlight as an underdog.

March 27, 2013  04:26 PM ET

On the other hand, UConn went 5-7 in 2012, defeating UMass, MD, Buffalo, Pitt, and Louisville (you know, the Gator slayers).

A lot of the big boys don't want to mess with them. See Georgia, VT, Oregon.

March 27, 2013  04:36 PM ET

I can't wait to hear the Boise fans cry about not being taken seriously. Amongst the other proposed big match-ups there's only Florida State that can be taken as a serious attempt to play a relevant opponent. Mich State offers a name, but with the quality of ball currently being played in the the Big 10 and with Mich State not even being at the top, what does it really offer? And then the other marquee matches, Wash, Wash St, Virginia? Is this a joke?

It's more of the same-old same-old b.s. outta Boise.

schedule 1 tough game per season then ride the hype. The tactic is getting old.

I would have loved to have seen those Boise teams play legit schedules. Their team was pretty awesome and it would have been fun to see them play a real season...

Really? LOL. You guys spend the season smashing SEC for "patsy" schedules, then when it is done to one of yours you jump up?

Did you read my comment #6????? I said, "I'm just saying that all football conferences play patsies every year"!!!! Yes that means the 12 PAC, Big Ten, Etc!!!!! Boise State is "NOT" the only team that has some patsies on their schedule!!!! Yes that means even the SEC, plays "patsies" every year!!! :-)

you're right, the SEC sucks, their schedule is incredibly weak. Way to hit the nail on the head...

Boise's entire schedule is made up of patsies...their only chance to get recognition is with ooc games. You're arguing appleas & oranges. SEC teams don't have anything to prove to anybody because their conference is tops. Not to mention that Bama scheduled Michigan out of conference last year.

I hate defending Bama and the SEC...

Okay, I see we have to agree to disagree!!! Let us just go back to last year, forget about the past!!! Take a look at Bama's schedule last year and tell me what top team they played in the regular season and "beat", besides LSU???
