04:03 PM ET 03.27 | Calgary Flames goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff has no intention of playing the final year of his contract, according to former coach Mike Keenan on Wednesday morning. Kiprusoff???s name has surfaced due to continued speculation that the Flames might trade him at the deadline. However, Kiprusoff reportedly told the organization that he would not report to the team he was traded to if such an instance occurred. Keenan stated on Wednesday that when negotiating his current contract, it was mutually understood that the goaltender would not play the final year of the deal. The contract was negotiated prior to current general manager Jay Feaster being hired.
