10:08 PM ET 03.27 | MMA pioneer and UFC veteran Ken Shamrock and fellow UFC veteran Ian Freeman have verbally agreed to fight on July 27 at Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster as part of the Ultimate Cage Fighting Championships. Contracts, however, have yet to be been signed. Shamrock, 49, has been competing since 1993 in organizations like Pancrase, UFC, and many others. He has not competed since November 2010 where he lost to Mike Bourke in less than two minutes into the first round. Freeman, 42, has not fought since May of 2008 where he earned the Cage Rage British light heavyweight title by earning a unanimous decision victory. Freeman has been competing professionally since 1999.
