08:00 AM ET 03.28 | While the Celtics won Wednesday in Cleveland, Avery Bradley submitted another clunker, this one a 1-for-7 effort from the field. And in the last 12 games, Bradley is shooting 32.2 percent (39 for 121) and several misses have been layups or other shots right around the rim. ... [Doc Rivers] did acknowledge that Bradley's offensive role has shifted with point guard Rajon Rondo out. "Yeah, and people are picking him up more," Rivers said. "And what we're trying to do is get him to get the ball out of his hands. I think personally what's going on now, guys are pressuring him, they're speeding him up and it's tough to get your faculties. ... I do think we have to ease something, just to get him going."

QUOTE(#3):

Ray gets the last laugh, a second ring.

But hardly gets any minutes, shots, or points.

But Hey Adam Morrison and Juan Howard have rings too!!!!

Even Eddy Curry has a ring so..... It's one thing to get a ring as a starter and another as a bench warmer.

It wasn't the potential ring that annoyed fans, it's how he went (debatable either way as to whose fault that was) their rivals. Had he gone to say Okc or SA n fans wouldn't be anywhere near as angry.

Don't forget doc.....its you who chose avery over rayKid ain't a scorer, hes a defender....and when rondo comes back, having 2 guys that can't shoot is a problem

And thats weird because Avery was a top flight shooter/scorer coming outta high school. Granted, its hs ball but still, how can you forget how to shoot just a cpl years later?

A vultured ring is, nonetheless, still a ring.

Bradley has value on the defensive end, but he's not a scorer. He's looking very uncomfortable trying to assume that role.

QUOTE(#6):

Bradley is overrated. He is just a backup player or a role player that plays on the ball defense.

What is he overated in? He is the best on ball defender in the league arguably. Pound for the best defender IMO. He really could be playing DB somewhere in the NFL IMO and I think he would could excel. He will eventually get it together to be a better shooter but slashing and defense is what he will mainly be.

QUOTE(#14):

Some believe that he is the savior and the future of the Cs. He is a great on the ball defender but as the PG, he is not that great. That means that he is only a 1 dimensional player. Role player...

Like Michael Cooper or Bruce Bowen?
