08:18 AM ET 03.29 | After bowing out of their region in a 61-50 loss to Syracuse, Indiana's Victor Oladipo apologized to Hoosier fans, but the question was asked quickly. Was this [Oladipo and Cody Zeller's] final games wearing the Indiana uniform? Both have been predicted to be first round NBA draft picks if they decide to leave school early. Both said it was the last thing on their minds. ... Indiana coach Tom Crean said he will help his players make the decision. "I'm sure I will do what I would always do, try to be a voice of reason, do the right research, try to give them as honest of an assessment as I possibly can," Crean said. "It won't come from dot-com's. It will come from general managers, scouting directors, people like that."

So much for an all B1G final four. Nice going Hoosiers

Yeah. "dot-coms." Piffle. You steer 'em straight, Tommy boy.

Do you think 'Cuse's 2-3 zone D will similarly stifle Marquette?

Don't know. Marquette beat the Cuse at home in late February by 3. Should be close if one goes by that game.

IMO, Zeller really hurt his NBA stock last night. He looked very pedestrian against tall, long, athletic defenders......guess what the NBA is full of? Tall, long, athletic defenders.

I see MANY more 4-14 shooting nights w/ 6 blocked shots in this guys future.....

Zeller needs to stay at I.U. another year to toughen up. He played like a fifth grader last night, along with the rest of the team. They all looked like it was their first game of the season!

The report that I read stated that 'Cuse reached back into its history to revive the 2-3 zone D, implying that they'd not used that defensive strategy for awhile. It was a strategic move to frustrate IU's O. It worked.

I've no idea if that 2-3 was purely aimed at IU, or if it might be employed for similar effect against Marquette. Of course, it would not be a surprise to Marquette...

Creen and Indiana... OVER RATED! Clap, clap , clap-clap-clap!

Oladipo could easily get draft very highly. On the other hand, Zeller has played like a 10 year old in a 7 foot body near the end of this season and especially in the tournament. He showed no variety of post moves, wouldn't bother to take but ONE in the paint jumper against Cuse's zone, and every time he drove he would just barrel clumsily into a defender. He needs to stay another year, he'll get eaten alive in the NBA right now. I don't get all the hype that's been around Zeller, and this is coming from an IU fan.

Exactly. Zellers ;ucky hes playing in todays era and not in the 80s when Olajuwon, Sampson, and Ewing would have made him a no name joke who'd never even be considered a first round pick. He looked like a deer in headlights last night.

Haven't got a clue. I watch very little, and know less.

Stick around and be a regular. We need more B1G representation on FN. Are you a football fan also? I think Wilson is going to do good things at IU

Zeller needs to look no farther than his brother for this answer. For him to leave now would really say something about how intelligent he is. Oladipo...meh...I think he should stay, but I have hoosier blood running through my veins so I'm in favor of IU being good.

Uh, Tin Man...the zone is kind of the first thing people associate with Syracuse. It is something they have doing for years NOT just for the Hoosiers.

Yeah. The article which I read said that 'Cuse resuscitated an old zone scheme which stymied IU. The implication is that the Orangemen haven't employed this particular D during the season. Given the current state of journalism, maybe the article was nothing more than column inches dashed out by some hack with flawed perspective.

It was shocking how bad IU looked on offense last night. Zeller got eaten alive under the basket. The Hoosier's seemed to be confused by the D, Crean didn't have them prepared IMO. An old axiom is that you move the ball around quickly against a zone.... IU sleep walked. As for shooting over the zone, Oliadipo shot only one three. For years the Orangemen have been known for a tough 2-3 zone, it should have been no surprise to anyone.
