10:36 AM ET 03.29 | The Ultimate Fighting Championship is still attempting to break through in the Chinese market. They have made some great progress, but the organization's lack of Chinese stars could be hurting their appeal in the Asian market. While they have been improving their efforts, the UFC announced that they have signed undefeated bantamweight Jumabieke Tuerxun in hopes of creating a star in the region on their roster. According to Chinese website Sohu, the 25-year-old inked a deal making him the organization's second Chinese fighter along with Tiequan Zhang. Zhang has suffered a loss in four of his five UFC appearances, so you know the UFC is hoping Tuerxun finds much greater success. Tuerxun currently sits on a 25-0 record, though some databases show him at 14-0. Regardless of the number of wins, it is still an impressive record and one that should demand attention.
