All roads lead Luongo to Toronto

08:25 AM ET 03.29 | Roberto Luongo may very well be the next big name on the move. Now surely it has to be turn to make his exit. Or maybe not. As has been the case for 11 months, ever since it became clear the Vancouver Canucks intended to hand the No. 1 goaltending job to Cory Schneider, it's clear all roads for Luongo's exodus out of British Columbia logically lead to Toronto. Which is probably why talks between the Canucks and Maple Leafs quietly resumed this week after weeks of silence between the two teams. That doesn't mean a deal is at hand, although it's believed Vancouver GM Mike Gillis is no longer demanding the likes of Nazem Kadri or Jake Gardiner in a proposed trade.

Yep. Takes us back to the glory days of lockout threads when every other story was about Luongo going to Toronto. :)

After 29 consecutive stories about Iginla over the last couple of days, this is welcomed relief ... even if it is about Lulongo.

If the bricks are yellow and look wet, I'd avoid them.

I have a hard time believing any team would want to take Bobby Lou with his cap hit. Although Feaster does seem like a soft touch.

No, no...a thousand times no.
Reimer and Scrivens haven't played badly. Why would you take on Luongo's giant contract?? It's a killer for the next DECADE, for cryin' out loud!!! Surely there are cheaper options.

And 13 of those 12 threads had him going to the Bruins!
