12:41 PM ET 03.29 | Michigan running back Fitzgerald Toussaint suffered a broken left tibia and fractured left fibia during the Wolverines' game against Iowa on Nov. 17, 2012. After hard work in rehab this offseason, Toussaint says he's "85 to 90 percent" recovered from the injury. He had surgery to recover the broken bones on the day of the injury, and he appears to be far ahead of schedule on his way back to the playing field. Toussaint, entering his redshirt senior season, will be hoping to replicate his sophomore campaign, when he rushed for 1,041 yards and nine touchdowns. In 2012, those numbers fell off to 514 yards and five scores.

If Toussaint recovers and returns to form, the coaches have a scheme which will give him the opportunity to challenge his sophomore season's accomplishments.

Agreed and it'll let that #1 RB out of high school they snagged in this year's recruiting crop have a chance to work his way into the system and not have to start from the get-go..........
