04:01 PM ET 03.29 | The Dallas Cowboys and Tony Romo have agreed to a six year contract extension, which makes him the highest paid player in franchise history. The numbers have not yet been released. The new deal will reduce Romo's cap number, which currently stands at over $16 million, and allow the team greater flexibility in the free agent market. It will also probably keep the 32 year old Romo with the Cowboys for the remainder of his career.

Possibly another 9-7 or 8-8 record.

Possibly another 9-7 or 8-8 record.

In that case he'll make as much for a win as for a loss.

This thread is guaranteed to bring out the Cowboy and Romo haters!

March 29, 2013  04:31 PM ET
QUOTE(#3):

My condolences to Cowboys' fans.

Why? If every Cowboy was a good at their job as Romo is at his, they would be a great team. Every year the guy plays behind an inconsistent offensive line, injury plagued receivers and no running game. If not for Romo, the Cowboys would be a four win team.
