McNabb blasts Romo in biased tweet

08:03 PM ET 03.29 | I appreciate everything that Donovan McNabb did in his time in Philadelphia. At the same time, I see what he didn't accomplish as well. Real Eagles fans see that, and I don't want to keep going because I'll get sidetracked into a whole conversation about Donovan McNabb's Eagles legacy, and that isn't the point of this blog post. The point was originally going to be about former Eagles Quarterback Donovan McNabb's reaction to Tony Romo's six-year, %55 million extension. But, as I went to get the embed code to post the tweet, I saw a Cowboys fan reply and completely embarrass Donovan McNabb. This tweet from an analyst's perspective comes off as a fair tweet. However considering McNabb and Romo played at the same time, this tweet to me goes beyond just being critical, when Donovan McNabb says, "You got to be kidding me." It almost makes it seem like McNabb has a bone to pick with Romo. However he was right, and the tweet itself was a story. Except for the fact that McNabb forgot who that one playoff win was against, and a Cowboys fan kindly reminded him.

McNabb always had a chip on his shoulder.

I don't see how JJ can justify 55 million dollars and a 6 year contract for Romo. He's not THAT good

Romo has never had a decent offensive line in front of him while McNabb did. The Romo contract was a no brainer.

Romo is a top 10 QB and just needs a better supporting cast in my opinion.

I disagree. Romo has never shown another level than how he plays in the regular season. His game stays the same in the playoffs

I think any QB would do better with a better supporting cast. the great ones make things happen without that supporting cast

The Cowboys need to upgrade in certain areas but I don't agree that Romo isn't deserving of that contract. There are many teams that would love to have him at QB.

Most of the great ones also have great talent to work with.

Hey GNG, don't disagree with his offensive line, but he has done some really moronic things all by himself!

I agree that Romo has had some brain farts but so did Brett Favre.

This may be true, but he'll eventually find a way to shoot himself in the foot.

Granted, but Manning and Brady both have maintained a high level of efficiency with a revolving door concerning offensive perimeter players in recent years.

The great one's make something out of nothing. Romo falls down a lot! I don't hate the guy, but he's shown me nothing that would warrant even coming close to the bux he's going to pull in.
