04:57 PM ET 03.29 | Nick McDermott, the man who captured UFC vice president Michael Mersch detailing 'off the record' weigh-in rules with Nick Diaz just an hour prior to his UFC 158 weigh-in, is filing a counterclaim on YouTube to have his video reinstated. "I got a strike on my account because of it," McDermott wrote on Twitter. "I sent a counter claim and I'm waiting on them to respond." Currently, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) allows copyright holders to file complaints against those using copyrighted material without express permission. UFC initially filed a claim against McDermott's video, which caused YouTube to take it down. McDermott believes, however, he has rightful copyrights over the video.
