09:36 AM ET 03.30 | In this past week's episode of "My Miraculous Offseason Recovery," we entertain the question, "What's in a text?" Really, what do the tea leaves mean when Robert Griffin III texts ESPN host Trey Wingo, "My first NFL season and my injury that ended it showed me a lot about the league, my team and myself. i know where my responsibility is within the dilemma that led to me having surgery to repair my knee and all parties involved know their responsibilities as well." Let's read that last part again: "all parties involved know their responsibilities as well." What's in a text? Everything, including job security for Mike Shanahan. So if I'm Shanahan, I parse Griffin's text messages, quotes, public statements, sneers and smiles even more obsessively than fans or the media. And I look for the slightest hint of disappointment in the coaching staff, the play-calling of Kyle Shanahan, the team's medical protocols, everything.

Since when did reading between the lines of a text become headline news?

I can't stand Shanahan, never could, no reason too, but come on! It was a playoff game and a lot of guys play hurt and if RG did not think he could get the job done then he should have put the team first and told the coach. Move on with this one, it is football.

I'm still waiting for the Redskins to announce the installation of a state of the art artificial surface for the 2013 season. This is a problem at which Snyder can and should throw his millions.

Good point, but I still don't understand why Dr.Andrews was on the sidelines and didn't do anything about RG's injury, in the first quarter??

Hey. Your supposed to be smart. Didn't show too much intelligence trying to lead with your head, throwing your shoulders into linebackers or trying to play running back. Blame yourself, you were the one who said to the news media you were asked if your were injured and you all but begged to go in. Blame yourself pal.
