04:48 PM ET 03.30 | Nearing the end of a disappointing 2012-13 campaign, the Detroit Pistons may part ways with head coach Lawrence Frank. Though the coach still has another year on his contract, plus an option for an additional year, the franchise could potentially turn in a new direction if owner Tom Gores gives the go ahead at the conclusion of the season. While the franchise is developing some solid young players, including Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond and Brandon Knight, the team is just 24-49 this season and has won three times since the All-Star break. Only Phoenix, Cleveland, Orlando and Charlotte have won fewer games this season. Frank was hired by the Pistons in 2011 after getting his first head coaching gig in New Jersey.

If Frank goes, don't forget to send Joe Dumars with him.

frank should stay. i feel that with a team like this, you have to give him time. actually joe D should be given a red flag before frank cauz hes made some bad decisions over the years. i mean like ,lets forget darko thing cauz that cud have gone either way but trading billups when he was playing some best ball was a ridiculous move. i feel that we are moving forward in the righ direction and if joe d manages to get some brains together and doesnt mess up this summers big moves, we should be right on track with dre, moose, singler, knight. i also feel we should retain bynumite, hes a great back up with so much fire and at a reasonable price. get rid of cv. if you can get max back at a cheap price, hes worth it too. of course jose cald should be retained.
