Jets expected to keep Tebow through draft

05:53 PM ET 03.31 | The New York Jets have been trying to trade Tim Tebow for months, but haven't been able to find a partner. Now, it appears the Jets will hold onto their backup quarterback at least until after the draft is over in April. Tebow has been on the rumored trading block since the offseason began, but so far the market has been slow to develop. If Tebow is traded after the draft, it will likely be as a salary dump more than anything else. However, it's more possible that he's just released at this point with no teams showing any real interest.

Jets' stupidity still haunting them.

Poor kid can't catch a break. I hope he goes to some POS team and leads them to a title...

Well first of all, he hasn't demonstrated the skills yet and second of all he made no effort to stop the media and this whole stupid "Tebow Time" chant, you need demonstrated skills for that, and third he should have known the Jets would do him in permanently! Twinkle toes and his circus side show are a pox on the NFL.

As much as I dislike all the drama that surrounds Tebow, I kinda feel bad for him. The Jets pretty much **** him over by not let him play when Sanchez was sucking as usual. At least he could have proved he's worthless on his own. He's done now and deserved at least a second chance after what he showed in Denver.

Leading the terrible Broncos to the playoffs and an upset win over the Steelers isn't good enough? Weird.

I don't get it. Then again virtually EVERYTHING the Jets have done over the last several years has been baffling, so I guess in a weird way this makes sense.

That would be something.

Imagine how hard the Hollywood execs would fight each other for movie rights.

Please don't forget the Broncos lost their last 3 games that year including blowout losses to Pats and Bills. The win over Steelers was more about the entire Steelers D being on the bench injured as well as the the entire OL and Roethlisberger playing on one leg. They were then blown out again by the Pats and Tebow was awful as usual going 9/26 for 136yds and that was against the 31st ranked pass defense in the NFL. It doesn't matter that Tebow believes in fairy tales and angels......he can't throw a football. It's really that simple. Every GM knows it and that's why nobody wants him.

And just when I was thinking wow S.I has gone a whole 3 days without a Tebow thread !!! WRONGGG ..

Just thinking about it makes it so (the interns are mind readers - I thought everyone on Fn knew that!). ;^D

Another casualty from a college that does not use the pro system, drafted on popularity not talent only to discover his true value under the unforgiving microscope of pro sports. But you never know he may turn out to be a good coach some day.

So trading Tebow after the draft was only a salary dump and not at any other time.....hmmmmm....maybe trading Tebow period is a salary dump for the Jets. Just a thought!!! :^D

That basically describes most Steelers games over the last few years

There are FAR worse QB's that have had a chance to prove their worth and HAVE NOT YET THEY ARE STARTERS !! I'LL TAKE TIM TEBOW OVER SOME SAD SACK WHO DRAGS THEIR SORRY BAG OF BONES onto the field week after week showing very little heart or effort. He will get a chance. Some way, some how that man is going to start and get some team that was willing to roll the dice with ol Bow to the Bowl. Doubt on doubters and haters it's going to happen as long as he stays healthy. the man has the will to make it happen. GO TIM!!!

I know you will all agree that Tebow is the Jets future and savior and that they will not let him go he is way to important to this team. LOL

The more I look at this the more I come up with the only thing that explains what we have seen, is some shoved Tebow down Rex's throat and now he is p!ssed at tebow
