08:08 AM ET 04.01 | By most accounts, Kenyon Martin has earned his reputation -- playing his kind of game almost assures that will continue, too. But his time in New York is gaining him equity around the league, perhaps making him a more marketable free agent this summer. "It was upsetting before, but I don't deal with it," he said. "The people who know me, man, they know what I'm about. I'm about winning. I'm about my teammates." ... Martin is enjoying his experience in New York. "I would love to stay a Knick," he said. "I don't want to go nowhere. I am proving to this organization what I can be and who I am as a person on and off the court, and I think they see that. I'm here now and I'm going to make the best of this opportunity."

He's basically the reason NY is playing so well.But.....We have no $, so if he wants to remain, on the cheap......great

I guess we all have to re-consider our evaluation of LTCF's thoughts about the Knicks as they stumble toward the end of the season. The way they are playing now, just hopeless and pitiful. So sad :).

Never understood why Clips let him go in the first place. Good solid pick up for any team.

I used to love when the Nuggets played the Clips and Blake would bang in a few time s and Martin would hit him hard. Then Blake would come in even harder and Kenyon would pull the chair and Blake would fall on his butt - good times.

QUOTE(#18):

Of course he wants to stay in NY but if he doesn't get paid than he is not staying for sure. He'll probably end up in Miami next year for the veteran minimum...

Please. He'll take what he can get wherever he can get it.
