08:09 AM ET 04.01 | How much more Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has in him remains to be determined. [Bryant], saying he does not want uncertainty over his future to drag through 2013-14 and with the possibility of being offered an extension this offseason, will "in all likelihood" make a decision in the summer over whether to retire after one more season. While re-affirming that he is leaning toward walking away after an 18th campaign, Bryant made it clear in an interview with NBA.com he expects to make a call before reporting to training camp and probably even long before that. ... "I'll talk to my family and stuff and really see if I want to continue to sacrifice as much as I'm sacrificing right now." ... Is your sense that next season will be your last? "As I sit here right now, yeah."

Its kobe's fault he has to eventually make a decision or not

No, it's Pau's fault...

Put on your big boy pants and admit it!

Or he's about to turn 100 years old and will eventually have to decide on retirement...

Hmmm, this would go against my belief that he won't retire until he passes Malone and Kareem's all time scoring records.

Kobe plays one more year; one last shot at tying MJ with rings and passing him on the all time scoring list.

They'll do it for him the way the Ravens "did it" for Ray Lewis and Jet will have a field day with that.

I actually think Kobe is done after next season because the Lakers will be in a serious transition thinking for the future. Gasol is almost good as gone amnesty most likely in the summer and they will make a play for LeBron in 2014.

I think Kobe will decide next season based on how that goes. If he is playing well and they have a winning team he may stay another year.

Yep. I really don't see Kobe playing too many years. It's very tough mentally and physically to stay on top of the game. After 17 seasons the guy must be tired.
He already said he would love to go overseas and play to cash in big time since he is huge in Europe and Asia.

QUOTE(#18):

I don't think they'll amnesty pau cause they won't be able to replace him as they'll still be over the cap and wouldn't be able to sign anyone good. They more than likely will suck up the years $$ then 'start over' the following year, when only nash and maybe dwight are on the books

Yep.
Gasol could be trade next season. His expiring contract will make him attractive to teams. Also MWP last year.
