Interest in Clowe picks up steam

08:28 AM ET 04.01 | April 3 looms large for Ryane Clowe. Reports from around the NHL have Clowe headed to teams searching for a power forward and not too discouraged by the fact he has yet to score a goal this season. The Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, New York Rangers and Vancouver Canucks all have been reportedly in the hunt. And though Clowe's contract does have a no-trade clause, it is not expected to be an obstacle as his agent and general manager Doug Wilson appear to be working together to give Clowe some control of his destination. Has all that been a distraction over the past week? "It's a distraction if you let it be a distraction," coach Todd McLellan said Sunday.

First he is not going to any west coast team, second I believe they are asking for a 1st round pick (Good Luck) With that I think the team for him is NY. I think Clowe would be a great fit for NY, bring some of the heart they lost when Prust left. But would he really waive his no-trade clause to come to New York? Now thats the question.

Nice back-to-back with your boys next week. If there's any time to turn the season around, it'll be then. Gotta stave off Washington and the Isles.

The Montreal game was brutal. They played well...they simply cannot score.
And if Gaborik is still a Ranger at the end of this week, I will be mildly surprised

Its been tough to score on Price all season. The time to fire Torts has passed. This team is going to live and die by what they do by Wednesday.

I've said it before...I don't think he's the problem. These guys can't buy a goal right now, plain and simple
And from what I've seen, they are finally shooting...Bishop owns them it seems, and as you noted, Price has been tough all season

Overrated.

This guy is a 3rd liner. Anyone who coughs up a 1st is delusional.

That's because we already have one CLOWN thread. Perhaps you haven't noticed, but they do come in pairs at T&R.
