Following Sunday night???s victory over the Washington Capitals, Philadelphia moved within two points of eight place in the Eastern Conference. While the team still has a ways to go, they kept their playoff hopes alive. Whether that altered general manager Paul Holmgren???s trade deadline thinking remains to be seen. However, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports the team is interested in Ryane Clowe, Jaromir Jagr and Jay Bouwmeester. Rumors have circulated that Philadelphia could add Clowe in the near future.
