08:06 AM ET 04.02 | NBA life hasn't been all that kind to young Bradley Beal, the Wizards' second-leading scorer who has dealt with early shooting struggles, trade rumors and injuries to his back, wrist and ankle. Following that initial fire, Beal responded with a string of successful scoring performances, buzzer-beating shots and game-saving plays and now finds himself as half of a potentially lethal young backcourt with [John Wall] and an essential building block for the Wizards' efforts to regain respectability. "The game slowed down for me," Beal said. "I was trying to prove something too early, just trying to do too much and then I let the game come to me and do what I know I'm capable of doing."

Lets see the game slow down for a full season for you. You have the talent but will you be a streaky player or bring it every night.

Had wall not gotten hurt the first quarter of the season.....They'd have been competing for the 8th spot (Imo)They have a ways to go, but they have some decent pieces

Yes. At this point in the season (with a healthy squad) Washington is that sub-.500 team that no one (especially play-off bubble teams) really wants to play.

They'll be dangerous within the next couple of years.
