08:19 AM ET 04.02 | At long last, Ducks fans have their new day dawning, as the Mark Helfrich era opens in earnest on Tuesday. He will follow Chip Kelly, the most successful football coach in program history who produced three conference championships and four BCS bowl game appearances. It's a lot of pressure for a first-time head coach. Apparently, though, it's not enough to send Helfrich into a fit of nervous tension. "I love spring football," UO's former offensive coordinator said. ... One of the key reasons for naming Helfrich head coach is UO's no-huddle "blur" offense. Maintaining the tempo-driven attack should make for a fairly seamless transition. "Our practices structurally are going to be virtually identical," Helfrich said.

So, his challenge to DBs is, "Bench press me. Twenty reps. Let's do it."

The ratio of practice time to actual performance time is so great, that coaches and players have to love practice. Nearly all their time is spent in preparation for the game. The actual game is a small portion of their schedule.

The first two I can agree with, but the "woody" one, I don't know!!! I was walking around the local bar the other day and one of my friends noticed that my fly was open and he said "zip up your fly". I said to him "don't worry my friend, what can't get up, can't get out"!!!! :-)
