08:02 AM ET 04.04 | So, that's what an injured J.J. Watt looks like? [Watt] revealed Tuesday that he wasn't at full strength during his 2012 NFL Defensive Player of the Year season. Watt dislocated his left elbow in training camp on Aug. 2. He did not play in the preseason and wore a large black brace on his arm throughout the regular season and playoffs. It turns out the injury wasn't an afterthought and the brace wasn't some type of mechanical fashion statement. "In the beginning, it definitely affected me," Watt said on "Texans All Access" on Tuesday afternoon. "All the ligaments in there were torn, they were all gone, so they had to have time to recover and regroup. So obviously, I wasn't at full strength."

Gotta be a scary thought for QBs that this guy's gonna get better.

Elbows? Who needs elbows? You don't need elbows to play this game.

So, what excuse will Houston make for their late season fade this year?

I wonder how many passes he will swat down when he can use his left arm too...

Kubiak has led one charmed life in the NFL. In 7 seasons he has produced a 59-53 record and is 2-2 in playoff games. He is the current holder of the Norv Turner award for " He that is given so much but produced so little. " Mediocrity is alive and well.

And Marty Schottenheimer says " you got to be kidding me"

Actually Kubiak is Sham-ahan lite. The both rode Elways back in Denver to make their claim to fame. Shamahan as the HC ( won one playoff game without elway as his qB) and kubiak who was Elways "QB" coach in Denver and OC while he was there.

What was New England's excuse?

Exactly. And that is why teams pay megabucks to the top QBs. If you want to win a SB these days you need either a great QB (Brees, Rodgers, P. Manning, Brady, Roethlisberger) or a hot QB (E. Manning, Flacco).

Our defense couldn't stop a girls' field hockey team. Simple as that.
