08:08 AM ET 04.04 | Of course, there was always a chance Andrew Bynum would return to Philly, but those odds officially ticked up on Wednesday. The agent for [Bynum] says that the player has not ruled out signing a contract with the 76ers. "I don't see why not," Bynum's agent, David Lee, said Wednesday morning when asked whether Bynum would sign an extension with the 76ers. "I still feel like the ball is in their court." Bynum will be an unrestricted free agent this summer. Bynum had arthroscopic surgery on both knees last month to remove debris. ... "Philadelphia has been terrific to us, from [majority owner] Josh Harris to [CEO/co-owner] Adam Aron to [general manager] Tony DiLeo," Lee said.

Obviously his agent is trying to get max money for Bynum I just can't see Philly going all in on a guy that never made it on the court since being traded to them.....

The Knicks are stupid enough to pay him... They signed A'mare even when no insurance company would insure him.

The agent for [Bynum] says that the player has not ruled out signing a contract with the 76ers...

Andrew must be reading the blogs and knows his worth has gone down. Two weeks ago he wasn't considering giving his team a discount.

Max size and talent but his health makes him a short term middle of the road kind of player. It does not seem as if he has been able to play a whole season except once or twice. If they do not sign him the Sixers have to find a player to build around or go the Denver route.

Bynum is borderline done he is almost at Greg Oden status. He will be out most of next year as well. He would be lucky to get any contract 5million and up. Post All-star break next year is the earliest I would expect him back.

Well, I am not sure how much of a discount he should give them. The problem is, knowing his medical history should he even expect a max deal.
