08:23 AM ET 04.04 | Coming off a disappointing 2012-13, John Calipari will no doubt be watching over a different environment in 2013-14. Based on what Calipari's six McDonald's All-Americans have been saying this week, the UK coach will have his hands full during next season's practices, which are already being billed as knock-down, drag-out auditions for playing time among a young bunch of highly motivated players with through-the-roof expectations. "With people that hate losing, there's bound to be fights," said forward Marcus Lee. "The big men and the guards -- we just go at it so hard. Especially during practice. I wouldn't doubt that there would be fights." Just to be clear: Lee is predicting actual, physical fights. And he's not alone.

I would think that this article will be well-received by Calipari. These incoming freshmen seem motivated and eager to push themselves and their teammates to get better. It's the coach's job to channel that motivation into the players adopting the team concept (and the players who do that first will be the players who play the most). I expect Kentucky to be pretty darn solid next year.

One and done U. No way I would want to go there if I were an undecided top tier recruit. I'd want to play. Even if it is for just one year.

Are there enough dunk and alley oop opportunities to keep 6 MacDonald's All Americans happy? And exactly who will play defense? It won't be any of those 6.

Defense???? They won't need no stinking defense....they'll out-score everyone

Sounds like continued sour grapes by some folks...the whole crew next year could have black eyes, bruises all over--play with their off hand and still would make the sweet 16...everyone knew they were going no where this year--even Cal. A few ESPN writers hyped them at the start--but this was by far his weakest recruiting class. Wiggins will go to UK because he knows wherever he goes he will play--might not be good news for a couple of the others--but, for the first time they will be 10 deep--pressing, running, mistakes and lots of excitement...not to mention dunks and WINS!!!!
