04:04 PM ET 04.04 | The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled forward Joe Colborne from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League on Thursday morning. Colborne was recalled because forward Frazer McLaren is suffering from the flu and might not be able to play in Thursday night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers. McLaren has registered three goals, one assist, four points and 63 penalty minutes in 27 games this season. He enters Thursday night averaging 5:09 of ice-time per game, which is the lowest of any forward on the Maple Leafs. Colborne is currently the second leading scorer on the Marlies, registering 14 goals and 28 assists for 42 points in 65 games. The 23-year-old forward has appeared in 11 career NHL regular season games, collecting one goal and five assists for six points.
