08:04 AM ET 04.05 | A clear No. 3 on the depth chart, why would Tarvaris Jackson want to play in Buffalo in 2013? [Jackson] said this week he was sold on returning to the Bills after his post-season conversation with Bills general manager Buddy Nix. "Before I left I had been talking to Buddy Nix and that was really one of the main reasons why I came back," Jackson said. "Just talking to him it seemed they really wanted me to come back. That was No. 1 on my list. It was a no-brainer. ... It was just talking about how things played out and it'll be a little different this year. I'll get a chance to compete, so that's all you can ask for." ... Presuming the Bills follow through on their desire to take a rookie QB in the NFL Draft, it may not be easy for Jackson to rise up above No. 3 on the depth chart this year, either.

T-Jax?????? This guy can't hold down a starting job. He's a journeyman backup. He doesn't deserve a nickname. Even a lame, derivative, hyped one like T-Jax. Stop it, interns.

"why would Tarvaris Jackson want to play in Buffalo in 2013?"

Why would anyone want to play in Buffalo in 2013?

For an 8th-year player, the league minimum is $840,000. Not bad to backup the clipboard holder.

They promised to buy him a new clipboard this year?

He will quickly rise to Head Clipboard Holder after the first KolbKussion of the season, when Kevin opens his front door in mid-July, walks out and goes down on the black ice.

I have tried to listen to Buddy Nix and you cannot understand a thing he says. He does not speak English. Heck, they cannot even understand him in his native Alabama.

The fact Buddy Nix and Tarvaris Jackson are both actively involved in the NFL is quite alarming when you think about it.

X marks the spot. And X marks the headline.

" It was a no-brainer"....that pretty much sums up a room with just Buddy and TJack in it.

That recording of him talking to Dominik should be mandatory listening...

It should be used by the military instead of the ASVAB to determine if you have code breaking abilities.

That conversation went something like this: " TJack my man, ah called all 31 other teams about you, 5 never heard of you and the rest had no interest. ah could use you around here, ya know, get coffee and maybe answer the phone, whadya think?

T Jack if Chilly had not drafted you in Minnesota you would not ever play a down in the NFL. You have a choice, take the clip board of go home.
