08:19 AM ET 04.05 | As distractions go, this one isn't great heading into the weekend. A handful of tweets from sports-and-entertainment attorney Darren Heitner today said that both Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. will declare as early entry candidates for the NBA draft and already are narrowing the field for agents. Heitner, whose Twitter feed lists him as a sports business writer for Forbes magazine, cited anonymous sources. ... [Burke's] mother told yahoo.com today that her son had not made a decision about this year's draft. ... Heitner tweeted this afternoon that Tim Hardaway Sr. said his son has yet to make a decision and denied his intent to sign with [Henry Thomas].

They'll be goners this weekend...FROM THE TOURNAMENT.

Burke's tourney has upped his draft status more than a little IMO...

Perhaps, but its the intangibles that would keep me from drafting him if I were an owner. The reason he's playing in Ann Arbor instead of Columbus is because he wanted Ohio State to guarantee him a starting spot. Arrogance and a sense of entitlement like that can wreak havoc on a team. It makes you wonder, if he's got that mentality now, what will be like when he has some money? Perhaps he'll mature and be ok, but perhaps he won't. I would not take that chance at the PG position.

Do you think you could be more of of a butt head?

For someone who's fandom lies with one sport I would keep my mouth shut.

Well Burke wont have to worry about that.. And he will be top 10... and you are obviously biased

True. I am biased in the sense that I hate the Michigan Wolverines, but that's why I took the time to explain my position. I want to be clear that my Michigan hatred aside, there are sound reasons I wouldn't draft Burke. If he pulled that routine and then went to Duke I would be saying the same thing. Which of course wouldn't happen because K would never be a party to such conditions.

I can't wait for Michigan to lose this weekend so they can go back to being the bridesmaids they've always been. Potential unrealized. ha ha ha ha ha ha

Tell me. Since your such a fan. Are the totals out yet on how much they're paying this group? I'm wondering where it falls in relation to what was paid to the Fab5. Of course we should adjust it for inflation.

When Michigan has 4 national titles, 15 Final Fours, 18 Elite 8's, too many conference titles to count etc., come back and talk to me. Until then you might want to shut it since you're only embarassing yourself.

I'm not a Michigan fan either but your points don't have much validity in the pros, you get paid to to perform period, if you don't perform, you sit or get traded and no one sheds a tear....

Michigan's athletic program could buy Duke 10 times over.

Like I said you have ONE program that excels so buzz off.

Ohio State didn't recruit Burke. If tOSU had offered him, Burke would have signed. And if I remember correctly, outside of a MAC school or two, tsun were the only D1 schools that pursued him.
