03:58 PM ET 04.05 | Cornerback Aaron Ross is back with the New York Giants after an uneven, one-year stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars. "It was a nice paid vacation to Florida," Ross admitted on "NFL AM" on Friday. The Jaguars came out of the woodwork last offseason to offer Ross a three-year, $15.3 million contract -- far more than what the Giants were willing to fork over for the 30-year-old defender. "I had to think about the family, setting us up long-term, so of course the money comes to mind," Ross said. "But winning is everything, man. It takes the joy away when you're losing, and the only thing to get you through it is the paycheck when you're losing."

Now we know why the Jags suck.

I don't know what he's bragging about. Nnamdi Asomugha got a two year vacation for a lot more money and a $4 million parting gift.

Doesn't his wife runner faster than he does?

No, but at least she doesn't pull her hamstring every time she runs.

So...he goes to Jacksonville, gets paid millions for losing, returns to the Giants because he wants to win but only get paid a couple million instead. How spoiled indeed...

For all the complaining out here, there's 'not' one who wouldn't have done the same....Don't be upset because he choose the "American" way of Capitalism...The 'maximizing' of profit. Business owners do it all the time. Invest the 'minimum' reap the 'maximum....

Damn. Burn on the J-Ville organization.

I would've done the same thing. You follow the money. No more, no less.

Someone offers you a couple mil, you take it. Simple as that
