08:05 AM ET 04.06 | The Seahawks' search for a backup quarterback isn't going to stop with the addition of Josh Portis earlier this week. Seneca Wallace and Tyler Thigpen are two other players Seattle has expressed interest in and may pursue next week. Brady Quinn and Matt Leinart are two other considerations. There's a prominent name not mentioned in that group, one who has been rumored to be a potential target of Seattle: Tim Tebow. He's not expected to be someone the team pursues as it looks to find a backup to starter Russell Wilson.

Whats the matter Pete afraid he will tell you no ?

April 6, 2013  08:43 AM ET

Of course not. They have seen him play. Jets are stuck with him.

Why would Seattle want Tim Tebow?

April 6, 2013  08:59 AM ET

Good choice, Seattle.

April 6, 2013  09:08 AM ET

It is so unfair. He was never given a chance. He is a winner.

There, got that out of the way. Proceed.

Time for Tim Tebow and those 3 other players to come out of the closet already.

LMFAO!!!! "The comment of the day"!!!!!! :-)

How couldn't see this coming? Tebow is (was) a hyped up media package he partially created himself. His playoff run with Denver was amazing only from the standpoint of other teams making huge mistakes to lose the game. Had he been more low key, the spotlight would have been off and he may have had a chance to learn the NFL game by getting some game experience and watching what better QB's do. Instead the Hollywood factor kicked in and he became a Dead Man Walking.
