Richard Pitino won't lose Gophers top scorers

11:59 AM ET 04.06 | Newly hired Gophers basketball coach Richard Pitino can count on starting guards Andre Hollins and Austin Hollins returning next season. The top two scorers from the 2012-13 season attended Pitino's introductory news conference, Friday, April 5, and said afterward they would not transfer, despite losing the coach who had recruited them to the University of Minnesota.

I just found it interesting that Tubby Smith, left Georgia for Kentucky, following the departure of Rick Pitino to the Celtics. Now Richard Pitino follows Tubby Smith to Minnesota after Tubby is "released." Insignificant, but interesting to some degree
