02:46 PM ET 04.06 | Boston Celtics big man Kevin Garnett has been out with a left ankle issue the past few weeks, but he finally returned to practice on Saturday afternoon. Garnett has not played since March 22, and he has been patiently waiting for his injury to clear up in order to be healthy for the playoffs. The 36-year-old veteran explained Saturday just what the problem is. "I have some issues with my foot," Garnett said before practice. "More from like the motion if you were just pushing the gas pedal, and it's an issue. If it wasn't, I wouldn't be out. But I am getting better and I'm going to practice today. Doc and I are going to have a conversation to make some decisions for the future." Celtics head coach Doc Rivers would like for Garnett to see some action before the regular season ends. Boston has six games left, so there's still some time for that to happen. But the most important thing is keeping Garnett healthy, as the Celtics won't have much of a chance in the postseason if he's hobbled.

Boston needs him back if they hope to do anything in the playoffs. However I don't see them moving beyond the first round even with KG.

hmmmm matching cane and all, the laugh might be on you if they bounce the Knicks in the first round.

If there's any team that Knicks should fear, that'll be the C's. IMO, with KG playing, no one wants to play the C's in the first round.
