03:27 PM ET 04.06 | His rehabilitation may be a lengthy process, but Boston Celtics big man Jared Sullinger plans on being healthy when training camp kicks off next season. Recovering from Feb. 1 season-ending back surgery, the No. 21 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft says that a summer of preparation should have him ready for next season. There was some hope that he would be able to get in some extra minutes with the summer league squad this offseason, but it appears the Celtics will play it cautious. Even if the surgery comes after months of questions about whether the rookie could handle the rigors of an NBA season, Sullinger doesn't view this as an indication those critics are correct. "I feel good, real good about my future," he said. Sulliger averaged 6.0 points and 5.9 rebounds in 45 games with Boston this season.
