08:06 AM ET 04.08 | Over the course of his long NBA career, Dirk Nowitzki has become no stranger to twisted and sprained ankles. But what happened Sunday night in Portland was different. He said he came down funny after jumping for a rebound in the second quarter. The ankle stiffened up at halftime, when he had it re-taped. He was ineffective in the third quarter, then sat out the entire fourth quarter. ... "I said I'm going to sit this one out and the boys will bring it home. It was a lot closer than we hoped [96-91], but we got it done." Nowitzki said he "definitely" will play Wednesday. "I could probably play tomorrow," he said. "I'll get some of those good meds. I'll be fine. We only got five games left."

Just rest that ankle. Dallas was already out when they lost to the Lakers.

Just have a nice relaxing off season, Dirk...

Let's see what Cuban and Nellie can do to get the train back on the tracks.

Cuban had a fire sale in hopes of landing Dwight Howard and Deron Williams. Now he's about to make another knucklehead move by wasting a draft pick on Brittney Griner. Is it any wonder the Mavs will watch the playoffs on TNT?

QUOTE(#8):

The Mavs are still in play for Howard and CP3 this off-season.

I like this address better for Howard, but CP3 is staying in LA with the Alley-Opps Bros. Inc.
