Tension between Clippers' best players

08:07 AM ET 04.08 | A convincing win over their cross-arena rivals certainly helped, but does Vinny Del Negro think the Clippers have a problem with tension between their best players? He talked about it before Sunday's game with the Lakers. "There's always things that -- the frustration builds. There's no question. And Blake (Griffin) and Chris (Paul) especially are two of our All-Stars and our biggest pieces. I think it's also a good thing because there's some frustration there because we need to play better. If the frustration is everyone pulling in the same direction, it's a positive thing. And I feel that's the case. But it comes down to, enough talking. Go out and perform, go out and get the results that we expect. You have to be able to work together. The chemistry is very important. They have that. It hasn't been as consistent as any of us would like, lately."

CP3, like Kobe, demands nothing but the best from his teammates. Sometimes, Blake don't like it when CP starts chirping at him. Oh well, after yesterday there is no doubt that CP is straw that stirs the Clips drink. Blake needs to shut his hole and know his role.

It won't matter much longer.

Just as long as Paul is healthy, the Clippers have a good chance of advancing to the wcf.

I might just change good chance to slight chance. We were owned by OKC and Spurs, going 2-5 vs them.

The Clippers can be "better," but they're still a player or 2 short of competing for the ultimate prize, and Blake and Paul can't change that.

"Good change"????????? IMO, the Clipps have a very "slim" chance to make it to the WCF!!!

With DeAndre, Blake and Paul on the same page can be deadly... Last December shows it. Blake and DeAndre, you guys need Paul... No one else is going to make you look better....

QUOTE(#9):

You guys haven't even won anything, yet you think you are special? You have big egos for what reason? Better get it together because all you won was a Division...for the first time in History! Oooooh, color me impressed!

That's true, but the entertainment has not equal in the NBA. That whole team is fun to watch...

It's too bad that Billups is hurt again. They could use Mr. Big Shot in close games.

As long as V.D.N is there they will never be successful. There team chemistry is all about ego. They have all the weapons, but no direction. CP3 is a coach and a player. Too much power for a player.
