08:28 AM ET 04.08 | Five days later, Capitals left wing Brooks Laich may finally get to the bottom of what has him sidelined. [Laich] will see a Detroit specialist in D.C. on Tuesday to discuss how to move forward with an injury suffered Thursday night against the Islanders. Capitals coach Adam Oates said the appointment with the specialist is to "get an evaluation on where he is" and said he would be out "a few days." "We can't quite get a handle on what it is," Oates said. "He just doesn't feel good. He's a little sore everywhere, but not necessarily where he was in the groin. That's why he's seeing a specialist that he's been seeing." ... [Caps left wing Martin Erat also sat] out Sunday night's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Was Erat's injury lower-body? That was an ugly hit.

Pulling for you tonight DL - go Leafs!

I think this is a violation of SI's Terms and Conditions.

I know exactly what you mean. I told my poor wife that I don't know what she's going to do with me if the Isles make it.

I've reviewed the Terms and Conditions and there was an amendment put in there for fans of teams that have not made the playoffs in over 5 years.

He's absolutely elevated his game and taking his team on his back. Good for him.
