05:19 PM ET 04.08 | The Buccaneers continue to pursue a trade for Darrelle Revis, but if the Jets' cornerback is going to end up in Tampa Bay, the Bucs are going to have to part with their 2013 first round pick, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. Tampa Bay is reportedly willing to include its 2014 first round pick as part of the compensation package, but according to Stroud's report, the Jets are insisting the Bucs include the No. 13 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. There are conflicting reports as to whether Tampa Bay general manager Mark Dominik is willing to include the team's 2013 pick for Revis. According to Stroud, Dominik is still deciding if he will include the No. 13 pick in the package. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, however, reports the Bucs are willing to include the 13th overall pick, but the Jets still want more. To add to the speculation, Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reported Tampa Bay is willing to include a first, third and sixth-round picks in a package for Revis. It's unknown if the Bucs' 2013 first round pick was part of that reported package.

Agree... That isn't even a viable rumor.

Originally the story was TB was willing to give up a first rounder and a third rounder, with one pick coming from this year's draft and the other from next year. That price seems a tad steep for Revis, in my opinion, and if TB is tacking on a sixth rounder I can pretty much guarantee that that's the best deal NY could possibly get.

Revis is obviously a great player but it remains to be seen how he returns from his injury and regardless he's gonna take up so much cap space I would definitely pass if I were an NFL GM.

Yeah, hes a great corner. But you need to be able to pay an entire rosters' worth of players and Revis' next deal is gonna severely crimp his next team's budget

And there you go. Once you get past the point of the Jets wanting more than what any team is willing to offer, Darrelle is going to eat up the cap of whatever team is foolish enough to trade for him. And then continue to be an offseason nightmare as he whines and demands that his new deal needs to be reworked.

If I was a GM, I think I'd invest money in a DC that can put together a scheme that works with the talent I can afford rather than decimate my roster paying Revis. The number escapes me, how many Super Bowls has Darrelle Revis won?

Completely agree.

I'd think it's even going to get where teams invest in very good players, not elite players at every position including QB and win because they play great "team" football. Not sure paying a single player ridiculous money makes the team better.

The Jets can't even hold a team hostage right.

No Way I would even consider a first round pick (#13 overall) for Revis. Bad attitude, possible bad leg.

Revis' eyes look red in this photo. Did they catch him after a night of smoking dope?

No disrespect intended especially with that avatar of yours, but smoking dope would be preferable to shooting yourself while wearing sweatpants like someone you were all too familiar with.

I don't wear sweatpants, and I don't own a gun, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
