05:34 PM ET 04.08 | West Virginia Mountaineers quarterback Geno Smith might not be the only signal caller taken in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, according to the great Peter King of Sports Illustrated. King believes Florida State Seminoles quarterback E.J.Manuel and Ryan Nassib of the Syracuse Orange could also hear their names called on the first night. Nassib has been drawing significant interest in the past few weeks, with rumors constantly flying around that the Buffalo Bills will take him with one of their first two selections. Of course, it would make sense, since Doug Marrone, Nassib's former college coach, is now the head man with Buffalo. Manuel is a little raw but has all the skills most NFL men look for. Manuel is a large quarterback who can use his feet to evade the rush and has a cannon for an arm. King sees both of them as potentially the second and third quarterbacks, respectively, off the board.

Manuel is gonna be the second coming of either JaMarcus Russell or Cam Newton. Or somewhere in between, but that's not a very enlightening statement.

Tim Tebow was a first round pick, so anything is possible. I still think Manuel goes in the second round to Philly.

Yes, but you're not frequently blessed with Josh McDaniels being solely responsible for personnel decisions.

As far as I'm concerned, draft as many QB's as you want in the first 27 positions. Denver needs to get a pass rusher at 28 to make up for Faxgate. And a running back. And maybe a linebacker. And some DB's. And another DT wouldn't hurt either.

But other than that, we're fine.

Your statement is as good as those by Peter King and others who are paid big bucks. No Problem.
