08:20 AM ET 04.09 | So, you're saying there's a chance? Seven weeks after having his Achilles tendon sliced, Erik Karlsson has been on the ice with Senators skating coach Mark Power, making his way toward a comeback from an injury that's supposed to keep a normal human out of action for at least six months. And judging from some of the footage captured by CBC's Dan Seguin on Monday at Sensplex -- in particular the way Karlsson flew backwards through pucks placed a few feet apart -- he very well could be back in the Ottawa lineup before long. Oh, and don't think his teammates -- stuck in a four-game losing streak with three dates left on the road trip -- didn't notice all the way from Florida.

If he does return before playoffs, the next Karlsson thread will read "Norris winner retires at 22." This would be stupid even by the Sens' dumb standards.

Agreed.

Glad to see a little bit of good news. I sure didn't expect to see him until next year, if then.

You mean .... it would be a Sens-less move on their part.

I wonder what will come now of Melnyk's homicide investigation?

He hasn't been able to reach Sherlock Holmes yet.

Coming this afternoon. He'll test them on Orpik's tendons I understand and give the bloody socks to Sid to raise his spirits. :)
