08:17 AM ET 04.10 | Finally, D.J. Ward has his shot. [Ward], who went from the top high school prospect in Oklahoma to the sidelines for his senior season, then to the sidelines at OU this spring because of NCAA Clearinghouse issues, can finally play football again. The freshman defensive end practiced with the Sooners Tuesday after being OK'd by the NCAA. "I'm really excited for D.J.," OU coach Bob Stoops said. "It's been a long process, but fortunately he's been cleared. He has to spend two days in just helmets, so he couldn't do much." ... Ward has even been issued a number (87) for the Sooners' Red/White spring scrimmage Saturday, on the chance he plays. Right now, the general focus is on removing the rust from his long layoff.

Bob Stoops shining moment last season was his cameo in AT&T's "Hello!" commercial.

Reportedly, Bob's voice was dubbed for his one line, "Hello." Anyone who knows a bit about production is aware of the prevalence of voice dub work (likely, Bob wasn't available for production work after the shoot) and the difficulties of live sound capture during a shoot (e.g. 'Les Miserables' movie).
