08:20 AM ET 04.10 | Florida State's 2014 strength of schedule may be on the rise. Multiple sources have told Warchant.com that the Seminoles will host Notre Dame during the 2014 season. The Irish begin partial ACC membership in football in 2014, playing five ACC teams per season. An ACC spokesperson declined comment. ... [FSU] is set to play Oklahoma State in Dallas to open the 2014 season and will host Clemson and Florida. FSU will travel to Miami and are penciled in for a road game at Louisville as the Cardinals take the place of Maryland in the ACC Atlantic. The challenge of the 2014 schedule is a far cry from FSU's weak schedules in 2012 and the upcoming 2013 slate.

It's amazing how ND constantly ducks top notch competition to play teams like FSU on the road.

Ooops, you are probably right, more coffee and fresher batteries needed in the ol' sarcasm meter. Sorry Gari.

Nah. ACC is a powerhouse. Just ask em after their annual choke job to [insert random ACC team here].

Forgot the ACC was a powerhouse. They are always allowed into the closed door meetings with the B1G, SEC, Big 12 and PAC 12 aren't they? Those biggies used to let the Big East into the secret meetings as well. And those pesky Smurf Turfers, Utes and Frogs with Horns were always pestering them by knocking at the door like Sheldon on Big Bang Theory.

Why is a pic of Golson accompanying a thread topper about FSU's future schedules? Chief Osceola not cool enough? No pics of FSU cheerleaders abusing ND's leprechaun in the stock used by FN?

Are you talking about the ACC as a whole, or just the "bottom dwellers"???? Didn't Clemson beat LSU last year?? I know that Clemson lost to South Carolina, but still they beat a good LSU team. Okay, I'm sorry, maybe I'm being too nitpicky!!!! :-)

OT, I just returned from your Seattle area. Six days of rain and cool. All the locals were beyotching about it but we loved it. Got "re-hydrated" while there.

Wife made two observations.

1. "Everyone except tourist dress like they are going camping all the time."
2. "Seattle may be the only place where you can't tell whether the 30 year old guy sitting on the park bench is homeless or a dot com millionaire!

Really enjoyed, Sequim, Port Townsend and Port Angeles areas.

DC, glad you enjoyed your stay in the Seattle area. Sequim, Port Townsend and Port Angeles are fun places. Yes quite a few people complain about the weather (rain), but a person "usually" gets used to it. I moved up to the Seattle area in 1968 and I complained all the time!!! A friend told me "stop complaining or go back to Los Angeles if you don't like the weather"!!!! Well, I stopped complaining and I have never been back to Los Angeles, even for a vacation!!! As far as "dressing up", most people in the Pacific Northwest, don't dress to impress!!! :-)

Hey, you should fly up to Eugene and I could drive down (4/5 hour drive) and we can catch the Ducks and Vols game on 9/14/2013!!!! Bring the Tin Man and DC with you, Wouldn't that be a kick in the Butt??? :-)
