08:21 AM ET 04.10 | Let's see now how the fans respond this time around. Steve Ott wasn't happy when he and his Sabres teammates were booed by fans at the last home game and Ott expressed his displeasure during his weekly interview on WGR. ... "Its disheartening when we get hemmed in our zone and they're basically mocking us" Ott said. "When you get up past the blue line and you finally get it in their zone after a minute and a half shift where they didn't even have a scoring opportunity. I guess you can say it was more of the mocking of my teammates that probably pissed a lot of guys off including myself. You're a fan of the Buffalo Sabres and hopefully, you come to cheer us on and motivate us. We've got a lot of young players on this team and they definitely don't deserve to be booed."

He Ott to focus on his own game.

Maybe he could call AA. Boos has ruined a lot of lives.

I always have mix feelings about the boo'in. I don't agree with most of the time. If the pieces are in place, and they guys are clearly playing w/o heart, maybe the deserve the boo'in. However, if ownership/coaching, etc. is responsible for the breakdown/dysfunction of a team, and THAT is evident, you can't blame the guys on the ice.

Agreed. The Sabers Otta give the fans something to cheer about and they'll forget to boo.

Poor, bleeding hearts! These losers get paid the same big bucks even when they suck! And tickets to the 'games' cost just as much. So, why should the fans sit on their hands and take this ****? They paid for the right to boo.

Ott calls out Buffalo's fans

"Buffalo fans won't you come out tonight, won't you come out tonight...."

Sometimes, you have hit them off the tee

The only reason I will watch a Sabres game is because of Otter.

Otherwise, I could give a damn.

Unfortunately the players are the most visible people in the organization so they get the brunt of the booing. I'm sure a lot of the displeasure is meant for the front office but it's harder to boo them in person :)

lol...the fans can do whatever the he__ll they want..they paid for the tickets..they're paying the bills..if they feel the team is under-performing the boo's will come down..if he's so sensitive to the boo's he should choose another profession.

They paid for their tickets, they knew the risks, I say let 'em boo.

or give them their money back from HIS check.........

I love when they whine when they are paid to perform

It's tough to boo when you're drinking a beer. But you can only afford a couple at those prices.

couldn't agree more. They get paid millions of dollars to play an effing game, and they want to piss and moan about it when fans express displeasure at their putrid play? Gimme a **** break.

I'm probably going to catch a game in Buffalo next week, I'll make sure to boo extra loud every time Ott touches the puck.
