08:24 AM ET 04.10 | After the Flyers lost to the Islanders, time is running out in Philadelphia. With nine games remaining, the Flyers remain five points out of the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot and are seven points behind the Islanders. The loss snapped the Flyers' seven-game winning streak on Long Island, including a 7-0 rout on Feb. 18. When asked if the Flyers would need a miracle to get into the playoffs, forward Scott Hartnell summed it up with a one-word answer. "Probably," he said. Steve Mason earned his first Flyers start in goal after playing the third period and saving all nine shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss at Winnipeg. Ilya Bryzgalov had started 36 of the Flyers' first 38 games.

To quote the GREAT Dave Tiger Williams (PHA fans always loved him)

Stick the fork in them, they're done like dinner !

PHA Nation won't admit it, but they wish they got Reimer instead of Luke "Pylon" Schenn for JVR

hehehe

Flyers need a miracle

Sorry kids, Easter's over.

A miracle would have to mean them winning most, if not all, of their remaining games. Stranger things have happened, but they have to believe they can do it.

Well, didn't watch the game, but from what I saw from some Flyer fans last night and the comments they made regarding Hartnell, Schenn, etc., I guess not. When the Flyer fans start turning on Hartnell? I got the impression they were giving up on the game? Again, didn't watch.

Montreal needs then Rangers to stick. They're almost the only ex-Patrick Div team they can beat easily...
