Brooks Laich to see another doctor about groin issue

02:45 PM ET 04.10 | Washington Capitals forward Brooks laich is expected to meet with a second doctor to examine his continued issues with his groin. Laich visited with groin specialist Dr. Michael Brunt on Tuesday and is expected to visit with another doctor. Head coach Adam Oates was unable to confirm whether surgery was a potential avenue being discussed. Laich has missed the majority of the 2013 season due to issues with his groin. After sitting out the first 28 games of the season, he was able to return for nine games before sustaining this current issue. He has missed the team's last three games. In the nine games he has played this season, Washington has compiled a 6-2-1 record.
