08:05 AM ET 04.11 | The Dolphins hold 11 draft picks, including five in the top 85, making their due diligence an important offseason step. That diligence led them Wednesday to the draft's most controversial and enigmatic prospect: Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o, who flew into Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale International Airport. His visit began Wednesday evening and will last into Thursday, a source confirmed to the Post. Te'o will count as one of the 30 visits the Dolphins are allowed before the start of the NFL draft, which begins April 25 in New York City. The prospects can meet members of the organization but cannot work out. Te'o, listed at 6-foot-1 and 241 pounds, was projected as a top-15 pick before his stock plummeted.

QUOTE(#1):

Spring Break?

Te'O was probably the only kid on the telephone with his 'girlfriend' during spring breakl.

There is nothing stopping him from doing an imaginary workout.

Nice, Chico...

April 11, 2013  09:13 AM ET

It'd be a plus if he only consumes imaginary drugs and alcohol

If I was a Dolphin fan, I'd be worried. But I'm not.

Miami is good but Tampa is closer to Fantasyland.

April 11, 2013  09:42 AM ET

Te'o's visit with Dolphins lasts into Thursday ... unfortunately, it was all in his mind; Dolphins officials could not confirm that Te'o was actually at their facility, or even in Florida.

Not so sure people will drop $300 for a Te'o jersey, though.

April 11, 2013  11:17 AM ET

I wonder if Jeff Ireland asked Te'o if his imaginary girlfriend is a prostitute.

April 11, 2013  11:22 AM ET

He's all yours Miami. Just don't let him come to Green Bay please?!?!?

I mean, google Tannehill.... first thing that pops up is a picture of his wife. Dudes a starting QB and his wife is more popular than him.
