08:07 AM ET 04.11 | At the very least, Antoine Winfield has options. After visiting Seattle early in the week, the veteran cornerback is now deciding between the Seahawks and Vikings, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday on "NFL Total Access." Rapoport describes the situation as "very fluid," with Winfield expected to make his decision soon. An earlier report suggested Winfield was "closing in" on a contract with the Seahawks, which read like a not-so-veiled message prompting the Vikings to raise their offer. If Winfield wants one last shot at a Super Bowl ring, foremost, the Seahawks are the easy choice. If it's about money, familiarity and loyalty, though, returning to the Vikings has to weigh heavily on his mind.

Yeah who cares?
FN has worn us out with contract/claim jumping threads.

Seahawks don't need another CB... Richard Sherman can cover the whole field.

You wanna play for a title, Bro?

Better go to Seattle

He's trying to max his dollar, otherwise he would have picked the Seahawks already

If he can force the two teams into a bidding war, he could have his cake and eat it, too.

wiseup: Winfield has some age on him. He didn't look so good on coverage in vikings secondary. But hey, If you can get someone to sign you to a contract, go for it.

wiseup: After checking Winfield will very soon be 36. and a 15 year career.

Fixed.

At 36 he will not be a starter for very long. He is out to get the best deal and I do not blame him. There is no guarantee of going long into the playoffs if he signs with Seattle.

Winfield was slipping three years ago. I might want him if I needed some depth in my secondary, but if you have to play him a lot, you are hurting.

Yeah they do since I'm sure Sherman will be missing games soon. Mr. Adderal won't skate on a technicality this year. And with a .02 brain I'm sure he'll still keep taking it.....
