08:20 AM ET 04.11 | Defensive lineman Adolphus Washington has a few things to show Saturday at Ohio State's spring game, including that as a Cincinnati native the Buckeyes are making strides in recruiting the area. "I wasn't here in years past but I heard a lot that we'd never done well in Cincinnati. I think we're doing great. I think we're killing it," OSU coach Urban Meyer said Wednesday. "I think Adolphus Washington could be a great player at Ohio State." Two, Washington has to prove he can replace the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and the guy that Meyer compared to Tim Tebow over and over a year ago as one of favorite players -- John Simon. ... [Washington] will be hard to miss as a must-watch on Saturday.

As the kids say............"DUH!"

Meyer also said other UF and/or tOSU guys were gonna be another Percy Harvin/Tim Tebow etc., but that never materialized. Just sayin', Urb has a habit of making these statements about future greatness, but often it's not turned out that way. Take with large grain of salt.

Strange, off subject comment. I don't recall it being mentioned on that show. Tried it once myself, but did not think much of it. Now Montgomery Inn ribs, that's good eating.

I used to go there a couple of times a year, and I heartily agree with your assessment. I assume the place is still thriving?

I'll take your word for it. No pork on my fork, only fish on my dish, or beef between my teeth.

While in C'bus, I think I ate dinner from there. Do they trim spare ribs?

Seems like I recall that, in addition to the original in Montgomery, they have a really nice spot down on the river, is that correct?
