02:50 PM ET 04.11 | The Nashville Predators announced that both Colin Wilson and Paul Gaustad would require season-ending shoulder surgeries. Both players are expected to miss four months. Gaustad has been dealing with the issue for most of the year and missed six games to an unrelated upper-body issue. He played in 23 games this season and registered a 59.7 percent success rate in the faceoff circle. Wilson sustained his shoulder injury when he was hit into the endboards by Minnesota Wild defenseman Justin Falk on March 9. Two days later he was placed on injured reserve and ultimately was unable to play in another game this season. He was the team's leading scorer at the time of the injury.
