08:09 AM ET 04.12 | In the end, Anthony Davis can look at his rookie season as a mixed bag -- he averaged 13.5 points and a team-leading 8.2 rebounds per game, but injuries were also a factor. An MRI performed on [Davis] on Thursday revealed a sprained left medial collateral ligament, bone bruise, but no structural damage, the team said Thursday evening. He will miss the final three games of the season. No surgery will be required. Davis sustained the injury with 5:45 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Hornets' 121-110 loss to the Sacramento Kings Wednesday night when former Hornets and LSU guard Marcus Thornton fell on top of Davis' left knee after Davis drew a charge under the basket.

The next Mr Glass. He got lucky with the draft by having 1 good year w/ Kentucky.

I think the only people who get lucky in the draft are guys who slide from the top down to the contenders picking late.

Not sure why you say that because averages of 13 and 8 as a rookie are very good numbers. Now I dont think he is a number 1 option but I think he can improve on those numbers. That is if he can stay healthy.

LOL, after his first year you are claiming victory. Did Camby EVER average 13? Yeah, once. This guy is far more polished offensively than Camby.

Why not? You claim victory all the time, mostly when you've failed.
